INSTRUCTIONS:
Draw the left foot
upward bending the knee and wrap the left foot around your
right leg as you rest the back of your left thigh on the
right thigh. Cross the arms at the elbows, left over right.
Join the palms together keeping the fingers pointed upward.
Repeat the Eagle Pose on the
opposite side.
BENEFITS: Garudasana strengthens
legs, knees and ankles. Furthermore it helps in physical and
psychological balance.
If you are suffering from any health condition, it is advisable not to perform these postures unless under the supervision of an experienced yoga instructor.
